Judi Folmsbee, now retired, used to dream of writing her own children’s book when she taught elementary school. That dream became a reality in 2013 when her first full-color, hardback edition of Bubba the Busy Beaver was released. Bubba is a story about a young beaver who never gives up. 

Preposterous Pebbles is her second book. In addition to children’s books and articles in booklets and newspapers, her work has been published in numerous anthologies such as Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Tough Times. Judi visits schools to read and share activities in the classroom as well as school-wide assemblies, serves as a workshop presenter for the Read Aloud Delaware conference, and is an active member of Delmarva Christian Writers’ Fellowship.
