Just a little more than 14 weeks until Christmas . . . if I counted right.

Your children may have already started their Christmas wish list.

I know for a fact we all have a list that we submit to God . . . in our prayers.

Here’s what God told me when I had prayed for my needs, but then started worrying about them:

God told me, “Ann, it’s on My list and if you worry about it, I’ll take it off My list – because you seem to want to handle it yourself by worrying about it. This shows Me you don’t trust Me to help you.”

He continued, “It’s My list, and you cannot even fathom the number of prayers I take care of every second. I untangle webs, working everything for good. If you grab ahold of your request with worry, I have to stop working on it. Don’t even look at My list. It’s Mine.  (Image via Pixabay)

Making a List

“If you are still worrying about that request, pray again – I hear each prayer – and I’ll put it back on My list.

“Now do this . . . give Me praise and thanksgiving for taking care of it. Use that childlike faith that is so full of trust in Me. Rejoice in your hope.

“Remember what happened when I saw you worrying about it?

“Focus only on Me, for I’ll lead you where I want you to be, show you what I want you to see, let you feel what I want you to feel, and tell you what I want you to do.

“I delight having you hanging around Me, and I will turn your cares into gladness as we walk and talk.”

I, Ann Noble, know God is fun. I’ve experienced doing just what He said.

Why oh why do we want to walk away from that absolutely awesome, fabulous relationship to go out on our own?

We, like sheep, are easily distracted. We wander off, away from our Shepherd, to see something that has gotten our attention. We know we have if we find ourselves bogged down with worry. That’s where God found me, away from Him and on my own, bogged down with worry.

Are you on that road, too? God just came to lead us back to where we should be, in those green pastures beside the beautiful still waters that reflect like a mirror.

Let’s encourage one another daily as Hebrews 3:13 tells us, so we keep our focus on our wonderful Shepherd.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.  – Hebrews 3:13 NIV

God just told you what to do if you’re worrying. I passed what God told me along to you.

Now share it with your family and friends as I just did.
